Election and violence against LGBTs
Women in newsroom
Hub Gênero e Número produces scenario analysis through reports, multimedia publications and perception surveys that contribute to the debate on diversity and to decision making towards equality and tackling gender and race inequalities in organizations. From our data-driven
approach, we drive urgent and propositional narratives.
The GN Minera is a high social impact analytical tool that we developed for managers, leaders and decision makers.
An analytical report with the most relevant and updated information about gender and race, and how they are connected to the market, education, science, politics, environment, and the world of work in general, including creative environments. It’s demographic and economic data, indexes, historical data series, perception surveys, as well as studies based on behavioral analysis in social networks.
The hub is a branch of Gênero e Número, a social enterprise founded in 2016 with the mission of gathering, analyzing, and highlighting data that reveal inequalities to qualify the debate on gender, race, and rights issues in the country. Our purpose is to continuously invest in the merging of research, data, and public debate, with innovative and consistent digital practices and methods that never reproduce oppressive patterns for any social groups.
An urgent study on the life and work of Brazilian women, with gender and race cutoffs, in the biggest health crisis of the last hundred years, and points out the critical issues, such as the sexual division of labor, loss of income, and domestic violence. The online survey, based on a questionnaire answered by 2641 women, was carried out in partnership with SempreViva, a feminist organization.

"When data and projects become reality and turn into real stories, companies can inspire market transformations, spotlighting practices that help change the world."
Maria Martha,
director
"Research and data analysis has become increasingly necessary to the reality of organizations because they show the dimension of inequalities experienced on a daily basis by the population. They are also scientific parameters that can guide initiatives that seek social equality."
Natália Leão,
coordinator of Research and Data
"The leaders which are most valued in the market are those who develop sustainable businesses in multiple aspects. Those who bring diversity and equality to their teams, with planning and communication of effective initiatives that make the work environment more productive and creative, stand out".
Camila Tavares,
product manager
"It is possible and necessary to plan and manage without automatically responding to all the metrics and preconfigured standards for a field. This is not 'deconstructing' management, 'revolutionizing environments' or 'swimming against the tide', it's being aware of the processes that normalize inequalities and committing to changes that dialogue with results as much as with the search for equality".
Giulliana Bianconi,
director
"With the use of simple visual elements, such as geometric shapes, colors, and lines, we can open paths to new knowledge and access to information previously hidden in numbers on a spreadsheet. With images, we can really translate data and here we have data visualization as a tool to add layers of understanding about a subject in an intuitive way".
Marilia Ferrari,
art director
"Diversity and a space for LGBT+ leadership within the workplace is essential to building a company that is connected to society and its plurality. Managers who create healthy and inclusive environments, for the coexistence of differences, strengthen creativity, team performance and reverberate values connected to equality".
